New members to our team!

Since the first day of September, we have had the joy of having the ELBOW team together finally as a whole. Since last year, project leader Soile Ylivuori, project coordinator Lotta Vuorio, and doctoral researcher Edna Huotari have been working on the progress of the project, but we have still been missing two members to join our team.

When the first day of autumn arrived, we were happy to welcome postdoctoral researcher Annika Raapke and university researcher Stefan Schröder to join our team.

As a proper welcoming ritual, the whole team met for the first time live in Helsinki on the very first of September. We spent the day planning the future of the project, sharing our dreams and wishes on what we would like to achieve and do during the project.

We also set the date for our first ELBOW workshop for the upcoming spring – we will share more information about it when the time comes.

Through these blogposts, you are welcomed to follow how the project evolves and what we are up to. The first of September was only the true beginning for our project with the whole five-member team, and there are a lot more electric and fascinating things to come.

(PS. In fact, our team has six members, since Raymond Sparks – in the photo below – joined our team during September. He is our electric friend who is specializing in research communications, because he will be the one sharing the adventures of the project on our Facebook and Instagram pages. In order to get to know Raymond Sparks and the rest of our team, please click here.)
